About GI-OS!
At the Gastrointestinal Oncology Society, our vision is to pioneer a future where every individual facing gastrointestinal cancer receives personalized, cutting-edge care and support. We envision a world where research breakthroughs and innovative treatments transform the landscape of GI oncology, offering hope and improved outcomes for patients and their families.
Our society is dedicated to fostering collaboration among multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, including oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, nurses, and researchers. Through this collaboration, we aim to drive forward advancements in early detection, diagnosis, treatment modalities, and supportive care for gastrointestinal cancers.
We are a non-profit, multidisciplinary educational organization. We strive to promote scientific knowledge and research in GI-oncology to increase awareness amongst physicians, scientists, patients and other stakeholders in the field of GI-oncology. We are here together to break barriers to communication and education while bridging coordination, propelling research and the exchange of ideas both Nationally and internationally for the development of GI Oncology, improving care for our very deserving patients.
